summer internship program

Free the Facts Interns work directly with our team members to help produce our Summer Series events and work on projects vital to achieving our mission.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Free the Facts interns get first-hand experience living and working in Washington, D.C.

FtF interns do more than make copies and get coffee. Our interns work directly with their assigned teams to complete projects that drive our leadership and educational programs forward into the next year. Interns report directly to department leadership and cultivate their project management, presentation, and networking skills while working with us.

Additionally, FtF interns are only required to work three days a week. This allows our interns to maximize their time in D.C. by using Thursdays and Fridays to pursue other internships, network, or explore the city!

While Ambassadors receive priority consideration, the program is open to all rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates. In addition to a monthly stipend, interns receive housing and a monthly metro benefit.

Gain professional skills by working directly with FtF staff.

Increase your knowledge of public policy, strategic communications, event planning, and program management.

Help put on our Summer Series events and hear from leaders in politics, business, sports, and more.

Work with FtF to develop and refine our educational and leadership programming.

Promote FtF’s leadership programs and policy issues by attending events on behalf of the organization.

Grow your network by connecting with attendees of our Summer Series events.
